These terms apply when you book a tour with Asik Travel through labuanbajotourism.com or use our website. By booking with us or browsing the site, you agree to these terms.

About Asik Travel
Asik Travel is a licensed tour operator based in Labuan Bajo, Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur. We design and sell multi-day boat trips, day tours, and private charters in Komodo National Park and the surrounding Flores islands. Some boat tours are operated in cooperation with licensed partner crews; we coordinate the trip end-to-end and remain your point of contact.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once you pay a deposit (usually 30 percent) and we send a written confirmation. The remaining balance is due fourteen days before the trip starts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). If you pay in another currency, the exchange rate is set at the time of payment by the payment processor. Bank transfer fees are paid by you.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations are handled under our Refund Policy. Please read it before you book, and contact us as soon as possible if you need to change plans.
Your responsibilities on tour
When you join one of our trips, you agree to: - Follow the guide's safety instructions, especially around Komodo dragons and on boats - Respect the rules of Komodo National Park and any heritage village we visit - Arrive on time for pickups and briefings - Tell us in advance about medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs, and mobility considerations - Carry valid identification and any required permits or visas
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is your responsibility. We strongly recommend a policy that covers medical evacuation, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and water activities. We will not refund costs that should have been covered by your insurer.
Liability
We take safety seriously and only work with licensed crews and certified guides. That said, adventure travel has inherent risks (boats, snorkeling, hiking, wildlife). We are not liable for: - Loss or damage caused by your own actions or by force majeure (weather, government closures, natural events) - Personal items you bring on tour - Connecting flights, ferries, or transport not booked through us
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.
Force majeure
If your tour is affected by events outside our control (severe weather, sudden Komodo National Park closures, volcanic activity, government restrictions, pandemics), we will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost or refund according to our Refund Policy. We are not liable for additional travel or accommodation costs caused by these events.
Intellectual property
The content on labuanbajotourism.com (photos, copy, itineraries, guides) is owned by Asik Travel or licensed to us. You may share links to the site freely; please ask before reusing photos or text in commercial contexts.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
