What to Expect on a Day Trip
Our day trips typically start early, around 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM, to beat the crowds and the midday heat. The journey begins with a scenic ride through the archipelago, passing small islands and fishing villages. The sea conditions are generally calm in the morning, making for a smooth ride.
We usually visit 4 to 6 locations depending on the sea conditions and the itinerary chosen. Common stops include the breathtaking Taka Makassar sandbar, where you can swim in turquoise waters, and Manta Point, where you have a high chance of drifting alongside gentle manta rays. We wrap up the day with a stop at Kanawa Island for some relaxing beach time before heading back.
For packing, we recommend a small day bag with your swimwear, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a change of clothes. If you plan to hike, wear comfortable shoes or trekking sandals. Don't forget your camera and extra memory cards—you will need them! We handle all the logistics, park fees (optional add-on), and navigation, so you can focus on the adventure.
